Quick Tips: I am going to show you how to take a screenshot on Windows, OS X, and iPhone. These tips are very basic and easy. No additional software required.

Windows: Pressing the Print Screen key, the entire desktop will be captured and saved in the clipboard. You can Paste the screenshot to any programs such as Office word or Photoshop.
Holding Alt and Print Screen key together capture only the current active window.

OS X: Pressing Command Shift 3 takes a screenshot of the entire screen.
Pressing Command Shift 4 takes a screenshot of a chosen area of the screen. You can drag to any sizes.
Press Space after holding Command Shift 4, you will be able to capture a window individually.

iPhone or iPod Touch: Pressing the Home button and Sleep/Wake key at the top of the device at the same time, will take a screenshot.
