Quick Tip: Changing folder or dock Icons in OS X

how to change OS X folder or dock icons
Want to customize your OS X a little? Besides changing background images, you can change folder icons easily as well. Also you can change the dock icons using the same trick. Difficult level:Easy.
Step 1

Open the icon image you want to replace in either Preview or Photoshop. And copy it. (Command + A select it, then Command + C copy it.)
Step 2

Right click on the folder and select "Get Info". An info panel will pop up. You can also use shortcut Command + I.
Step 3

Click on the small folder icon on the top left panel. The icon will be highlighted.
Step 4

Command + V paste the new icon we copied earlier.
It's Done!

You can change the dock icons as well.
