Over the years, I have seen lots of mobile apps UI designs. Many of the designs are amazing, but there are certainly ugly ones. I often hear people complaint that Android apps aren’t well designed. Well, I’d like to defend Android a bit. Android apps can be beautiful! It’s all up to your dev teams to make beautiful apps.

According to the stats showed at Google IO 2011, the Android Market has more than 200,000 apps available. That’s great news! However there are many poorly designed apps in the Android Market too. Many of those apps are actually function well but they simply look really bad.

I have selected 15 beautiful shots of UI elements from Dribbble. If my math is right, 120,000 x 15 = 1,800,000 pixels of UI design hotness.
