[Win/Mac/Linux] Was there a time when you wanted to measure the size of an object on screen? I found a free app for it. Pixus is a desktop AIR app that measures screen objects. Developed by JPEG Interactive, Pixus has a very intuitive User Interface that you can control precisely with a keyboard or mouse.

You can quickly drag Pixus to measure a screen object and the dimension will be shown on the top.

There is a very helpful panel that shows the keyboard shortcut for controlling Pixus. You may noticed that Pixus can change it skin to Safari.

I personally find Pixus very useful. I would highly recommend it to all graphic designers. It's Free, and works for WIndows, Mac OS, Linux.
